Editing a student's profile Student email verification Check completion of student profile

The user can view the profile of another student within the Expertise in which the user is browsing the pages.

On the detail they will see:

  • Link to LinkedIn profile
  • Profile photo
  • Timeline image
  • Name
  • Surname
  • User's city
  • Time zone
  • Languages
  • When was the student last active?
  • Introducing the student
  • The need for skill development
  • List of scholarship applications

Editing a student's profile

If the user's "Employment status" is "Student", the user will be able to edit the student's profile.

However, if the student has an unscheduled meeting within the Expertise, it will not be possible to deactivate the services. After successful deactivation, the "User Type" within the Expertise will change to "User"

Student email verification

When the "Student email" is changed, a confirmation email is sent to the user.

The user confirms the new "Student email" by clicking the button in the email.

After confirming the new "Student e-mail", the message "Student e-mail is verified " will be displayed.

Check completion of student profile

If the user has not yet completed filling in the student profile, the system checks whether the profile is complete when saving the data.

To mark the completion of the student profile, the user must have completed the following information:

  • Consent to student status
  • at least 1 Language
  • School
  • Verified student email
  • Introducing the student

After completing the student profile, it is necessary for the Expertim application administrator to verify and approve the profile. Once approved, the student can apply for a scholarship.
