Expert Profile
Expert Profile
The user can view the profile of another expert within the Expertise in which the user is browsing the pages.
On the detail they will see:
- Link to LinkedIn profile
- Profile photo
- Timeline image
- Name
- Surname
- Current position and company
- Designation of an expert according to the services offered
- Whether it is among the favorites
- Number of scheduled and held meetings
- User's city
- Time zone
- Languages
- When was the expert last active?
- Introducing the expert
- Industry
- Number of matching skills
- Skills I want to mentor
- List of meetings with the given expert
- Expert services
- Rating list
Expert public profile
A non-logged-in user can view the public profile of another expert within the Expertise in which the user is viewing pages. If the user is logged in, he will be automatically redirected to the expert profile.
The public profile will not display experts who do not have "Public profile visibility" checked.
On the detail they will see:
- Link to LinkedIn profile
- Profile photo
- Name
- Surname
- User's city
- Time zone
- Languages
- Introducing the expert
- Industry
- Skills she wants to mentor
There is also a LinkedIn login button on the detail to view the details. By clicking the button, the user will be redirected to login / registration. After logging in, the user is redirected to the expert's profile within the given Expertise.
Editing an expert's profile
If the user's "Employment status" is not "Student", the user will be able to edit the expert's profile within the Expertise in which the user views pages where some items are common within the Expertise and others are individually set within the different Expertise.
Editing the profile will be in several steps:
- Tutorial
- Basic information
- Senior or Expert skill level
- Skills I want to mentor
- Services offered
- Presentation
Activation of services (meetings)
The user can activate deactivated services as part of the Expertise within which the user views the pages.
In case of activation, when the user also has an "Approved expert profile" in the Expertise ("Expert approval date"), the "User type" in the Expertise will change to "Expert".
Deactivation of services (meetings)
The user can deactivate the activated services within the Expertise, in which he views the pages, by revoking his consent to the Terms and Conditions for experts on the expert detail and turning off the offered services.
In the event that the expert has an unscheduled meeting as part of the Expertise, the services cannot be deactivated.
In case of deactivation, the "Type of user" within Expertise will change to "User".
Expert profile completion check
If the user has not yet completed filling out the expert's profile, its completion is checked when saving the expert's data within Expertise.
In order to mark the completion of the expert profile within Expertise, the user must have completed the following information:
- consent to the provision of mentoring and consultation services
- presentation of the expert within the given Expertise
- at least 1 Language
- at least 1 unarchived skill marked as "skills to share" within that Expertise
- at least 1 unarchived active Expert Service within the given Expertise
Once the expert profile is complete, it is necessary for the Expertim administrator to verify and approve the profile. After approval, the profile, including the services offered, becomes visible to other users.
Sending a notification in the case of an incomplete expert profile
After 7 days from registration, the system will check whether the expert's profile has been completed. If the profile is not complete, the system automatically sends the user a notification with the subject "Complete your profile".
